Happy 1st Birthday James!

I was lucky to spend a few hours with James on his 1st birthday. It was a beautiful Autumn afternoon, and oh how I loved all the colour at his grandparents place! The next day was his party, so there were lanterns, balloons and even a little cake to smash at the end!

Thanks Danae for asking me to capture James at the fun age,

Moo's Deb

I made the drive over to Kyabram to capture Moo as she prepared to make her Deb.
Moo, you looked absolutely stunning and I hope you had a wonderful night..

Thank you Moo for asking me to capture this special time for you,

Ash & Remi

Ash & Remi's mum contacted me for a photoshoot before Remi had her hair cut. You see, she had been growing it so that when she had it cut she could donate it to an organisation who make it into wigs for women how loose their hair through sickness. It was Remi's idea to do it, which I think proves just how beautiful inside and out she is. What a proud moment for her parents.
Ash wasn't too happy with the idea of having his photos taken especially when I asked him to stand next to his sister! Oh my, you should've seen his face when I asked him to hold Remi's hand! priceless!!!!
I guess this is what happens when your kids hit 12 & 9!!!

This was a fun shoot, thanks Colleen for asking me to capture your gorgeous kids!

Ollie turns 1!

I know I've said it before but, I LOVE watching my "JRP Babies" grow. And I can't believe how quickly they are!
I first 'met' Oliver at his mum's maternity shoot, then when I captured him as a newborn and with his extended family just before Christmas.
Ollie's response to his cake was under-whelming! He really didn't know what to do :)  But we still had fun and didn't his mum do a wonderful job of his cake?!

I loved catching up again Alex and look forward to our next shot :)

Emma & Blyss

There has been a lot said lately about breastfeeding, one of the most natural ways for us to nourish our babies. After breastfeeding my first 2 children and then having and overcoming problems with my 3rd, it is one of my most cherished memories spent with my babies.
I wanted to do a shoot that captured the peacefulness and beauty of this. So I called upon Emma & Blyss on a gorgeous Autumn afternoon. While capturing this special time between Emma and her baby, I couldn't help but notice the tenderness with which Emma touched Blyss. In every stroke and touch I could see the love and devotion Emma felt for her little girl.

Thank you so much Emma for allowing to capture these memories for you,
Jo xxx
